Happy Halloween

My friend Courtney had a Halloween Party so me and Chris threw some costumes together last minute. Chris was Scuba Steve and I was an 80's bombshell- righttt. The funny thing was I found both of these costumes here at my house. We kept our nasty 80s wet suits in the garage. Let me tell you, this was an adventure in itself trying to get this bad boy on Chris! Then I found my awesome jumpsuit in our hall closet- it was my Grandma's back in the day. My mom also kept some disgusting hair accessories and jewelry to add to my fancy costume. We met up with friends, Kellie and Bryan Farley. They looked cute! It was a fun night.

I Love Justin!

Last Night was so fun! My friend Keri gave me Justin Timberlake tickets. My sister in law Jenn and I went to the concert and had a blast. It was a benefit concert so Rihanna, 50cent, Leona Lewis, Will I am, Jonas Brothers, Boys 2 Men, and of course Justin performed. I think it was the best concert I've been too. Justin put on such a good show, i was like a little girl again, thinkin he was all hot dancing. I'm a nerd but he was really good! The people there were hilarious too. There were these ladies in front of us that were probably in there late 30s dancing so bad. One had the best move ever she did the whole time. I should of recorded it, I was dying laughing. Then there was this dorky nerdy girl that was dancing so ugly a couple of seats down. She was trying to be all sexy, it was great. And then did I forget to mention the couple right next to me all over each other. They were basically freakin up on each other all night. I guess they didn't care everyone was watching them. I almost threw up in my mouth. Another thing I just love when your in a room of tons of people and someone keeps farting. You get the waft of butt and you're wondering who the heck keeps doing it and you hope no one thinks it's you. Anyways you got to love it. It was definitely a night to remember!

Special Ed Chef

So it's official I suck at cooking. Katie my sister-in-law gave me a meatball recipe and garlic mashed potatoes. K meatballs piece of cake, potatoes- I'm used to instant in a box. So Katie acts like I know how to cook and puts very little detail on the recipe. The recipe reads about 4 garlic cloves to add to the boiling water so I go to the store and buy 4 bulbs of garlic. I throw those babies in with the potatoes to cook and thought nothing of it. My other sister-in-law happened to come over and about died when she saw what I was doing. For all of you who don't cook let me give you some advice. You are supposed to peel skin off of these things like an onion and in 1 bulb there's at least 10 cloves. So do the math I was putting in 4 bulbs! My potatoes would have been so garlicky and gross. The funny thing was I had no idea and I even wasn't sure if i was supposed to take them out after boiling and mash them in the potatoes. That would of been funny! I didn't feel so bad until I told some friends at work and they all knew, so that made me realize I better start watching Rachel Ray.

Babysitting my husband

Chris and I aren't that exciting. I don't have a fun post but I thought this was pretty entertaining last night. Me and him went to dinner and we wanted to go somewhere new. We haven't been to Macaroni Grill forever and we thought we should go for a change. Well, I basically forgot why we don't go there. My husband is worse than a little kid when it comes to that place. He embarrassed me so bad! For all of those who have been there you know there is a table cloth you can draw on with crayons. Well he loves that! Our waitress happened to be a girl I knew in high school which made it more embarrassing. So Chris sits down and was so excited about drawing pictures. He started drawing boobies and wieners all over our table. I was sooo mad. I kept trying to take away the crayons and covering his pictures with the plates. He thought he was so funny, he wouldn't hand over the crayons and kept moving the plates back to embarrass me. Then he started drawing flowers and space ships. He just gets a kick out of making me mad. I felt like I had to be his mother and yell at him the whole night. It was pretty funny because all you could do was laugh at the situation but sometimes I wonder why boys are so immature. So I decided we aren't going back!

Makeover Time!

I finally cut my hair! I've never had short hair in my life and always wanted to try it out. I always chicken out but today I was feeling brave. I chopped it off for a fun little change!

Newport Beach

We went to Newport Beach with Chris' family to a beach house. It was a different house that we stayed at this year and we called it the booby beach house because in every room there were paintings with tons of boobs LOL.It was a fun trip and so nice to get away. It went way to quick though. I was stupid and so excited to lay out I wore a 4 and got fried the first day so the second day I had to hide in the shade. I only got in the water once, it was pretty rough. I did one nice wave and decided that was enough after I got slammed by a wave, although the boys had lots of fun in the water. We did some shopping at the Irvine Spectrum. I got some cute shirts at Buckle and Saturday we hit the swat meet. I got some cute sunglasses, a purse and wallet, and some shoes. I can't wait for next year!

Tribute to Twitch

I'm bummed about Josh winning SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. He was good, but I really wanted Twitch to win- I love him! He is hilarious! I just got back from Cali and luckily I could watch most of the finale there. I recorded it here at home so I'm going to watch what I missed tonight. This was the first year I wanted more than one person to win, I loved Chelsey, and Katie was an amazing dancer. I'm glad Katie won some money in the end. So one thing that drove me nuts was my two sister in laws wanted to ruin the surprise for me! They thought they were so funny. I waited all season and was so excited to see who won but they don't like surprises and they are those types of people who spoil it and look online before the end of the show to see who won. Then they kept giving little hints which basically gave it away to me. All those people who look before- what's the fun in that?! I'm over it- I still love them. And of course my husband loves to ruin these reality shows for me too because he hates them so when Cat was saying the winner is.... Chris yelled Josh right before her- He's gay!

Game Night!

Saturday we had a little get together and Michelle's house. We had yummy mexican food and played games. We had such a good time playing catch phrase and the name game. Us girls almost peed our pants a couple times when the boys had to get up and do the action part of the name game- I love it, it was hilarious! Good times! Amber we missed you and Devon, we'll have to do it again!

The best show ever...

My obsession is So You Think You Can Dance! All I have to say is Comfort has to go tonight and Thane is so gay!I'm over Jessica too. My favs are Chelsey, Courtney and Gev! Kerington is so cute and I love Twitch too! Someone needs to knock Mary out, she's so freakin annoying!I love seeing Buddy(Napoleon)and Tab on the show, they are so dang good!I can't wait for tonight...

Happy 4th of July

Today was nice and eventful. We started off by going to my in laws to have a swim party with the fam and a BBQ. Then back to my house for a neighborhood BBQ and some fireworks. It was pretty funny most of the people on our street came over to our house. My brothers when all out this year and got tons of illegals. Our whole neighborhood went crazy, it looked like a real show!

Happy Birthday Honey!

Thursday was Chris' 23rd Birthday! He got spoiled with clothes and I took him out to Cheesecake to celebrate. Tonight he got another little celebration with his fam. Chris is seriously hilarious. When it's his birthday he likes to think he's special the whole month. The whole month he'll make excuses to get out of everything because it's his birthday, or he likes to mention if he wants something done for him, "but it's my birthday!" He cracks me up. You can see in these pics he doesn't make things easy for me, every pic I would take he would try to make an ugly face. But that's why I love him! He has the best sense of humor! I love him so much and want to thank him for being a great hubby.I love you Chris!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Me and 5 of my best friends had a girls reunion and went to San Francisco over the holdiday weekend! It was the funnest trip I've been on! We got there Friday at about 1am and stayed up talking until 4. The next morning we walked forever up and down these steep streets to find a bike shop- let me tell you I was dumb to wear flip flops my feet were torn up. We all rented bikes and rode down the coast and across the Golden Gate Bridge. This was an adventure let me tell you. Allie and Nicole got a Tadum double bike, it was hilarious, they almost died trying to ride it. We had to push our selves to finish to the end, We made it up huge hills and once we crossed the bridge it took us to an island. The whole bike ride had to be a good 10 miles. And after a hour + walk. I was proud I did it! The next day we went to Fisherman's Warf and saw sea lions, danced with a jamacian, and had a crazy guy put a Iguana on Allison. San Fran is crazy if I didn't mention that- There are tons of wierd bums everwhere. Anyways we went to Ghiradelli and had yummy ice cream sundaes too. The rest of the time we went shopping and had the best girl talks ever! It was a blast!

Racoon Eyes

So yesterday I thought hey I have some free time so I would love to work on my tan. I went and laid out with my friend a couple weeks ago for an hour and I got a little burnt, but nothing bad. I haven't been in the sun forever so I expected it. So Yesterday I went in my backyard and laid out and greased up with some oil. Thinking no big deal, I did it a couple weeks ago. So I didn't put any sunscreen on my face either since I was fine last time. Well I was wrong! An hour later I came in, took off my sunglasses, and about died! My face was bright red and I have a huge tan line from my sunglasses. Lets just say I look like an idiot! I would put up a pic but I'm pretty embarrassed, my whole family has already had a good laugh at me so I thought I would spare myself from more embarrassment, even though it's pretty funny. Chris is getting the biggest kick out of it. He kept saying last night do you want to go somewhere dark for dinner so people don't have to see your face or we can get a bag to put over your head. He thinks he's so funny! Well the thing that sux is The company I work for is requiring us to go get individual pictures done with a photographer on Wednesday. So my luck I look ridiculous now so I'm really hoping it will fade by then so I don't look like a retard on our website. So my advice to everyone is wear sunscreen and don't tan with sunglasses!

I passed my test Woot Woot!

So I passed my State Insurance test to get my license! I studied soo much and it was so stressful going through the classes but I did it and I'm done! I feel good too because it was my 1st time taking it and I was worried i would have to re take it like some people have to do over and over! Yeeahh!

Red Rock Hike

We went on a hike today with Mikey, Seretta, Robbie and Jeff to The Ice Box. It was so fun! It took a good couple of hours and me and Chris are sore! Chris was good with me, he had lots of patience with me today surprisingly. I'm such a girly girl and need help all the time and get scared. Usually he gets annoyed by me on hikes but he helped me alot and was cute. I biffed it pretty good once it was funny. Something that bugs me though, why can guys just whip it out and pee where ever!? I am not gonna try to squat in the bushes so of course I have to hold it forever. That's just something I hate and I know every other girl does too! Robbie was a dork and thought he would be funny and hiked the whole time with his shirt off, how sexy HAHA. And yes ladies,he is single and ready to mingle, as well as Jeff. It was cool when we got to the end there was a little waterfall in a cave and some pools of water. Robbie and Jeff tried to climb up this super steep wall right above the water and almost fell in because they couldn't get down, that's what they get! I wish they would have fell in, that would've been funny. It is nice to be home now, and I can't wait to sleep tonight!

Workin' hard for the $

So i started my new job last week and i love it. It's so different from my old job. There's only 15 people there instead of like 500. Every one's laid back and way cool. I love that everyone is LDS and pretty much younger. I am an account manager for the large business groups working under Mike Gardineer. So the only thing i really hate is dressing up everyday and wearing heels- ouch! Its cool though Fridays are casual days and we get off an hour earlier heckkk yess. So right now i feel pretty much lost because I've never done insurance before but I'm hoping I'll get it all. I start my insurance school on the 24th which i heard is super stressful. It's only two weeks but ill be working all day then going at night then ill have to fit in studying some other time on top of that. I'm way nervous for the insurance test i hope i pass the 1st time so i don't look like a retard!

Our Little Rex!

We got a new puppy!! My mother in law had little yorkie puppies so we had to get one! Me and Chris are so excited! He's too cute!

Update ...

So alot has changed for me lately. I've had my ups and downs. Well I'm out of work right now but I found a new job thankfully. I start on Monday at Distinctive Insurance. I'm kinda nervous since I've never done insurance before so I'm hoping I'll like it. I got super sick with a bad cold for like a week and got better luckily the day we left for our Anniversary trip. We moved too. Our lease was up for our condo and we decided to make a goal and move in with my parents to save for a house, so i had time to clean everything last week and were all moved in now. I'm sad not to have our own place but it will be worth it once we get a house. It's been crazy too I lost my cousin last month in a car wreck and it was a pretty hard time. She left behind to beautiful little girls. Now my Grandma passed away last night. She has been suffering for a long time so I'm glad she's not in pain anymore but it's sad to see her go. It was hard to see my dad last night because he was holding her hand when she passed so he was having a hard time. I felt so bad because we were out of town and i didn't get to see her. So this just reminds me don't take the ones you love for granted. Through everything our family has been pulled closer together and I'm so thankful for all i have!

Our 1 year Anniversary!

Sunday the 24th was our 1 year anniversary! We went to Disneyland to celebrate! It was fun to get away the two of us. We haven't been on a vacation just us two since our honeymoon. I can't believe it's already been a year! The 1st day of Disneyland started out nice and sunny then of course after Chris made me do Splash mountain- (by the way i happened to get the front and got drenched)It started to get cloudy and rain. So we were wet and cold the rest of the day but it was still pretty fun. We saw like three groups of people there from Vegas which was funny. We met up with some of Chris' friends for the afternoon. We were bummed they canceled the fireworks show because of the weather- I've never seen it so i was sad! The next day we heard it was supposed to be rainy so we thought we would go to the mall and shop and go see a movie. Well it rained for about an hour and was really nice the rest of the day our luck- oh well! We got to see the firework show that night from our hotel across the street so i felt a little better. We went back to Disneyland Monday and it turned out to be a nice day so we were happy. it wasn't very busy either so that was nice. That night i threw up in the middle of the night though- random! I might have gotten food poisoning or something. But besides that it was a good trip! I love Chris so much and I'm so happy we are together! I can't wait for more years to come!

Looking back!

I can't belive it's been 5 years that me and Chris have been together! I thought i would do a little tribute to us for Valentine's Day. We were offical Valentines of 2003. Time flies! Chris is the best husband, what can I say. I love him so much and I don't know what i'd do without him. Our 1st year anniverary is coming up on the 24th and what better way to celebrate, we're going to Disneyland!! It will be a blast! I can't belive we've already been married a year. I 'm looking forward to what's to come for me and Chris this next year, we're buying a house and were getting a puppy next month and who knows maybe a baby someday... well in 5 years according to Chris, but we'll see!

Snow Day!

Me, Chris, Allie, Carlos, and Bre went sledding on Saturday! It was so fun! We went up to Lee Canyon and it was packed! I don't think I've laughed that hard in a long time, I almost peed my pants a few times! We had a blast sledding together and goofing off!

Ho Ho Ho

I can't believe Christmas came and went! It was a blast! Very different from all in the past. This was me and Chris' 1st Christmas married! It was so fun to open presents together in the morning and make breakfast. We had to rush to my parents after we finished and then on to his parents, then to my grandmas. It was crazy but an exciting day. We had our Christmas dinners at different times this year so we ate just the two of us that night and between running around to all the family's we were starving. So I couldn't believe it but we were looking for a place to get food on Christmas. I soon found out this was impossible! The only place open anywhere was Jack in the box... ha it was packed but dang good because we were so hungry. Well,Chris spoiled me and I think I spoiled him too. I had a few presents under the tree for him but I surprised him with a Mountain bike he wanted and I got one for me too! We'll see if we actually go, we better! Look forward to upcoming posts about me probably biffing it! Anyways, I'm bumbed because it's over and dont want to take down the tree. I love the holidays and hope everyone had a good one!

My 22nd Birthday!

My Birthday was on the 6th and it was the best! Chris spoiled me so much! He got flowers delivered to my work... so cute. And a funny story, a bunch of us went to lunch from work to this mexican restaurant and they had them sing Happy Birthday to me. So it was a Mariachi Band and they brought me a churro with a candle then out of no where this guys slams a shot of tequilla on the table, grabs my head, tilts it back and tries to give me a shot. OH MY HECK LOL! We all had to stop him before I got wasted haha. It was funny. Then Chris took me home and surprised me with a totally cute Marc Jacobs purse! He got me some cute Lucky jeans too. We went to Maggianos for dinner, which is way good Italian that everyone should try, It's in the fashion show mall. We had a big get together with the fam yesterday too. It was a blast!

My 1st Christmas Tree!

I'm so excited to have our 1st Christmas tree! We were lucky to have a friend give us the tree so we only had to go out and buy decorations. I couldn't wait to set it up so we did it the day after Thanksgiving. It was so fun that me and Chris could do it together. I can't wait to celebrate our 1st Christmas as a married couple! Six habits or facts about me...

1. I'm a clean freak! I hate when anything is out of place or messy. I swear I'm always cleaning and fixing pillows to be just in place.

2. I'm obsessive compulsive. I stress about the littlest things all the time. I go over my list of things to do daily, even when it's the same everyday. I do this at least 10 times a day, it drives me nuts.

3. I'm addicted to my TV Shows. I have to watch The Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars, House, Gossip Girl, America's Next Top Model, Private Practice, Grey's Anatomy, The Office, and CSI. I can't wait for So You Think You Can Dance to come back on!!

4.I'm kinda high maintenance when it comes to attention. I hate when Chris plays his video games. I always want him to spend time with me and to snuggle with me.

5. I love the Holiday season. Christmas is my favorite because I'm not going to lie, I love presents. I can't wait to have our own tree this year and I'm might be crafty and try to make some cute decorations. It's so fun to have all the family time and to have work off!

6. I love being on my own! It's so fun to finally be out on my own and be able to do what I want. It's so fun being married! I love sleeping in on weekends, getting groceries I want, and making decisions as a couple. I can't wait to someday start a family of our own!

It was my Mom and Dad's 32nd Anniversary on Thursday! They do so much for all my family. They are the best! I love you guys!

My Golfing Trip...

Me golfing? I know crazy huh. So I went to work Friday and for everyone in my department, my boss was giving a day off to golf. I'm the only girl so I was going to pass on that one. Plus I thought golfing would bore me and the guys would make fun of me or be annoyed.But at the same time I didn't want to sit in the office and work all day. Anyways I came to work in jeans not planning on going, just thinking I wouldn't really do much for the day since everyone would be gone. The guys came over and said they had a surprise. I was thinking sweet, I can go home or something. Pftt no, they said I was going golfing. I was like nope sorry I have jeans and I knew you couldn't wear them on a golf course. They smiled and said we'll take you home on the way to change and go. I gave in and thought, hey I won't have to work. So the guys picked Puhrump to go to. Our company did work out there in the only nice neighborhood with a golf course. No offence if anyone is from out there. Plus I think they just wanted to make sure we would miss the whole day of work. So I went out with Alan Sagers. He is a golf expert! He explained the whole game to me and showed me how to hit the ball. The group of guys I went with made it fun. I'm glad they weren't all serious about it. I'm surprised too that I hit some good shots. I never really made it too close the hole in my first couple shots. And it took me like 6 shots to get where the guys hit two or three, but they seemed surprised at how good I was doing for my 1st time. We played 18 holes which took like 4 hours. I actually can say it was kinda fun. My hand is bruised and by back and shoulders hurt so it was a good work out too. I told Chris He better watch out because if we play now, I might beat him!
